Watch an episode of the show:

Ganga made the judges and everyone else teary-eyed when she candidly spoke about the struggle of a transgender woman. Born in the body of a man, Ganga initially went by the name, Pranit Sandeep Hate. While speaking to a leading publication she revealed how she was called by crass names by her relatives and the people around her. However, her family stood by her and fought with these people who put her down. She also recounted how her life changed drastically after appearing on Yuva Dancing Queen. She thanked the stage and people who treated her with respect without making her feel out of place. After her appearance, the society’s perspective changed and the people, who once underestimated her, have started praising her.

We are incredibly proud of Ganga for the way she faced all the adversities which came towards her. In her successful mission, she is also paving a road for many of the community who are bullied because of their sexual orientation. We would love to know your thoughts in the comments below.
