Will Mahesh Babu Reject Madhu Mantena’s Ramayana 3D Starring Hrithik Roshan And Deepika Padukone?

Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu is one of the most loved and successful actors in the industry. And it’s no wonder that his fans are looking forward to each of his projects with equal excitement. However, we might have some bad news in store. Earlier, it was reported that Mahesh Babu has been cast for Madhu Mantena‘s Ramayana 3D starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. But now, there’s news that he might just back out of the film. Read on to know what we know so far.


Mahesh Babu’s role in Ramayana 3D

Indian film producer Madhu Mantena has been planning for his upcoming film Ramayana 3D for quite some time now. In fact, he had even locked his lead casting which included Mahesh Babu, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. While Hrithik plays Ravana, Deepika is supposed to play Sita and Mahesh Babu was supposed to play Lord Rama. However, now Mahesh Babu has either opted out of the film already or might quit soon.

Madhu Mantena v/s S. S. Rajamouli

Mahesh Babu has been in talks with Madhu Mantena regarding his next, as well as the Bahubali director, S. S. Rajamouli regarding his next directorial venture. The Tollywood actor could’ve easily done both the films, but unfortunately for him, the schedule for these films might clash.

Both Mantena and Rajamouli are planning to start the shoot in 2022, and thus the actor will have to choose between the two films and let one go. According to sources, Mahesh Babu’s obvious choice will be S. S. Rajamouli as the director is planning another magnum opus with the actor.
