According to Whatsapp’s official Twitter handle, ‘over 100 billion personal messages a day are end-to-end encrypted by default on WhatsApp.’

Whatsapp also shared on Twitter that ‘nobody else, not even WhatsApp’ has access to these private conversations. End-to-end encryption locks these messages. Only the sender and the recipient have a unique key that allows them to chat privately.
