WhatsApp Is Upgrading With Large Link Preview For iOS Users, Check Out What’s New!

According to the reports by WABetaInfo, the large link preview feature for WhatsApp is currently under development. It will enable the users to spot unsecured links and to stay away from unsafe websites.

Being the widely popular messaging platform, WhatsApp is known for experimenting with its interface to enhance the experience of its users. It often introduces the users to new and efficient features. Saying so, WhatsApp is now working on a large link preview for iOS. While this will enable the users to spot unsecured links, it will also make the application’s interface more reliable. Though the official announcement is yet to be out, the popular website WABetaInfo has confirmed the update.

According to the reports by WABetaInfo, the large link preview feature is currently under development. The iOS users will get an insight into the same in a future update of WhatsApp. Also, it is being said that the company is working on a similar update for the Android version. Currently, WhatsApp is testing high-quality link previews on the latest Beta version. This update aims to give a high-resolution preview for the users before they click the link.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is also engaged in a new feature inspired by Snapchat. Under which, the attached images or videos will disappear after one viewing. It will allow the users to send media files that will be auto-deleted after being watched in a first view.

Earlier, sharing some insights into its future update, WhatsApp had announced new dark blue colour for notifications. However, during the beta test, many users did not appreciate the change. And thus, WhatsApp decided to get back to the old green colour. The feedback received during the test complained about the “colour contrast”. Highlighting the issue, the users added that notifications were not visible due to the dark blue pattern. After which, WhatsApp had restored its green colour.

Well, coming back to the link preview update, it seems to be a great step towards protecting users from unsafe websites.

Meanwhile, stay tuned to ZEE5 for more updates.
