West Bengal MLA Death: BJP And TMC Leaders Meet President Of India
JP MLA, Debendra Nath Ray’s body was found hanging in the market area of Bindal village in North Dinajpur.
The political war in West Bengal between the BJP and TMC is showing no signs of waning. The bone of contention is the death of a BJP MLA named Debendra Nath Ray last week. His body was found hanging in the market area of Bindal village in North Dinajpur. The BJP alleges this to be a political murder, while police investigation has found that it’s a suicide. The BJP had called for a ‘bandh’ yesterday in several Northern districts in West Bengal over the issue.
Moreover, a delegation of the party had also met President Ram Nath Kovind demanding the disbanding of the ruling West Bengal government. And today, a delegation of Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan to state that the BJP is unnecessarily politicizing the issue because the case of Debendra Nath Ray has already been declared a suicide by the police. The police had also said that a suicide note was found in the shirt pocket of Ray.
