Parrots are often trained to repeat a few words or do some tricks, but this math expert definitely came off as a surprise to the users. In the video, the parrot can be seen saying ‘3…2…1’ when its owner showed him three, two and one finger one by one. After counting to three, the parrot tilted its head in a cute way winning the hearts of netizens.

This is not the first time videos of animals displaying ‘mathematical’ skills went viral on social media. Earlier this week, a video of a dog instantly became hit on social media. In the video, the dog could be seen performing simple maths calculations, leaving everyone amazed.

When the dog’s trainer asked him a simple question such as 5 + 1, the dog barked 6 times. As per reports, he has also been trained to do subtraction as well as multiplication. When his trainer asked him to subtract 2 from 5, the dog barked 3 times. Not just this, he has also been trained to ‘count’ as many as ten times. So, when the trainer says 1, the dog barks once. When he says 2, the dog barks twice. This way, he has been trained to bark ten times, on a count of 10. Such videos take no time going viral on social media and remain memorable for a very long time.
