Watch: Parineeti Chopra & Aditi Rao Hydari Attend A Special Screening Of ‘The Girl On The Train’
At the special screening of The Girl On the Train, the actors were seen following a black dress code. After posing for the paps, Aditi was seen interacting with the media persons.
Bollywood divas Parineeti Chopra and Aditi Rao Hydari are gearing up for the release of their much-hyped film, The Girl On The Train. The actors were recently spotted at the special screening of the film held in Mumbai. Also present at the screening was Avinash who posed readily for the shutterbugs. All the actors were seen following a black dress code for the special screening organized for the cast and crew of the film.
Both Parineeti and Aditi posed for the paps with all smiles. Before the screening began, Aditi interacted with the media, talking about the film. The actor was asked about the different experiences of having a theatrical and OTT release. She was quoted saying, “The lockdown has definitely got all of us a bit close to the OTT platforms. It is a great medium which provides us with an array of good content.”
She further added, “However, the theatre experience can’t be replaced so I’m waiting for theatres to open without any restrictions.” When asked to comment on the ongoing OTT censorship debate, Aditi chose not to answer. In an earlier interview, Aditi had revealed that she plays a vital character in The Girl On The Train.
She had said that her character Nusrat is “the perfect sunshine girl” in the film. Her character is being adapted from Megan in the original Hollywood original version. For those unaware, The Girl on the Train is the official Hindi remake of the 2016 original film based on a bestselling novel of the same name. The film is all set to release on February 26, 2021 on Netflix India. The film also stars Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary in the featured roles.
