Within no time, social media became a vital need in our lives. Bridging the major gap of communication, online applications morphed the world into a global village. And out of all these apps, WhatsApp became the most-used messaging platform, and one can’t ignore the fact that new privacy policies bring in change in the functionality of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp Calls (audio-video) brought along more convenience for people wanting to see each other through video. However, many times we prefer recording some calls based on our office-related tasks or for some other essential use. And you may have noticed that it’s not possible to record a WhatsApp call. So, for those trying to record WhatsApp calls through their iPhones and Android devices, we have got you covered. Follow the steps mentioned below to record WhatsApp Calls.

Recording On An iPhone:

Connect your iPhone to the Mac with the help of a lightning cable. Share the access by clicking ‘Trust this computer’ on the iPhone. Open ‘QuickTime’ on the Mac, under file, choose New audio recording. Select the arrow pointing downwards, next to the record button in ‘QuickTime’, and choose the iPhone. Click the record button in QuickTime.

With the iPhone, call on any phone via WhatsApp. Once you are connected, click the add user icon. Now choose the person you want to talk to. At the backend, the call would be recorded automatically. Disconnect the call once it’s complete. Stop the recording in QuickTime and save the file on the Mac.

Recording On An Android Device:

Install and open the Cube Call Recorder on your phone, then switch to WhatsApp. Place a call accordingly. If the Cube Call widget shows and lights up while you’re calling, the app is working perfectly on your device.

If it shows up any error, open Cube Call Recorder settings and select Force VoIP call as a voice call. Place a call again and check if the Cube Call Recorder widget shows up. If the error persists,  then unfortunately your device is not supporting the software.
