Vikas Dubey Case: Audio Clip Of Slain Deputy SP’s Call Provides New Revelations
The Deputy SP Devendra Mishra can also be heard making allegations against “former SSP Tiwari, in the five-minute clip.

The Vikas Dubey case has been getting murkier by the minute and adding to that murkiness now is a sound clip, purportedly of a phone call between slain Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Devendra Mishra and Kanpur Rural Superintendent of Police (SP), Brijesh Srivastava. In the clip, the former can be heard telling the latter that Station Officer (SO) Vinay Tiwari has said that the raid will only start after Devendra Mishra reaches the spot.
Moreover, in the five-minute clip, Devendra Mishra can also be heard making allegations against “former SSP Tiwari,” presumably Anant Deo Tiwari, saying that he took Rs 5 lakh from the SO after a gambling racket was busted by Mishra. At the start of the clip, the DSP can also be heard telling the SP that a large deployment of men will be needed for the raid and the latter even agrees to it. In the ensuing raid, eight policemen, including Mishra were killed by Vikas Dubey’s men.
