Vidya Balan To Team Up With Scam 1992 Star Pratik Gandhi For Tanuj Garg’s Next

Going off the typical principles of the film industry, Vidya Balan has emerged as one of the most sought-after actresses of B-town. For more than a decade, the actress has been making bold choices through her films. And that’s one of the reasons fans eagerly root for her new projects. Now, quite interestingly, Vidya has been roped in for a film alongside Scam 1992 star Pratik Gandhi. Yes! To everyone’s delight, the two fan favourite stars will be seen sharing screen space with each other.

According to the reports, Vidya and Pratik will feature as a couple in Ellipsis Entertainment’s next. Ad filmmaker Shirsha Guha Thaurta is on board to helm this film project. Talking about the storyline, the film revolves around two couples and is themed around ‘social patriarchy’. While Vidya and Pratik have been signed to play the first pair, the makers are yet to finalize the other couple.

Reportedly, the film will go on floors this year and will be shot under a 45-day schedule in Mumbai and South India, respectively. Earlier last month, it was reported that Vidya is in talks with producer Tanuj Garg of Ellipsis Entertainment for her next project. She had collaborated with him for the 2017 film Tumhari Sulu. And now the duo teaming up again for a new project has got everyone excited. 

On the work front, Vidya’s latest release Sherni is garnering rave reviews from fans as well as the critics. Also, the actress has signed another project alongside Shefali Shah in Suresh Triveni’s untitled film. She is currently busy prepping for the same. Talking about Pratik Gandhi, the actor rose to fame with Hansal Mehta’s web show Scam 1992. And since then, fans are eagerly waiting for his next. Now, the news of him and Vidya teaming up for a new film has surely piqued everyone’s interest.
