On Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney-Schwartz remarked, “Everyone, every woman, every person should be free to decide what’s best for them.”

Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz are continuing to be open and honest about their road to conception, as well as a critical point in their relationship.

The longtime pair discussed their future reproductive clinic visit on Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, when Tom, 39, would receive the results of his sperm analysis test and Katie, 34, would have an ultrasound for further fertility advice.

Katie informed Tom that she needed to complete the proper papers prior to their visit, prompting her to consider one of the couple’s previous decisions. Katie agreed with Tom that the pregnancy happened “so early” in their relationship. Tom also stated that the couple’s future together was “uncertain” at the moment.

“It had been a year since Tom and Kattie had been together, and it had not been pleasant. They battled all the time, for example “she stated “She wanted it to work out, but she was just thinking that if something happened, he’d go and she’d be a single mom.” “Everyone, every woman, every person,” she continued, “should be entitled to decide what is best for them.”

If Katie had wanted him to “man up and find a way to make it work,” Tom told the cameras he would have “managed up and found a way to make it work.” Later in the episode, Katie and Tom went to California Fertility Partners to assess whether or not they could have children together. Tom heard that his sperm morphology was “a little bit on the lower side” while Katie received “excellent news” about her ovaries’ follicle count.

“Sperm resemble tadpoles, and the DNA of the sperm is found in the head of the sperm,” the doctor explained. “We want sperm heads with a typical form. Tom  was exactly 4%.”

Katie and Tom were told by the doctor that they “can absolutely work on” improving their situation, and Tom was told to reduce his weekly alcohol consumption. He was also warned not to use marijuana or take hot baths.
