Befikre actress Vaani Kapoor is well known for her work in Hindi cinema. She has also received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her role in her debut movie Shuddh Desi Romance opposite the actors Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput. Vaani has also worked in a Tamil movie, Aaha Kalyanam.

After facing criticism for her performance in Aaha Kalyanam, she took a break from the films for three long years. The actress made her comeback from the action thriller War alongside Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. And she got praised for her performance, in the same.
Recently, the actress has opened up about her future work plans. According to her, she is consciously working on shaping her film choices, the scripts, and the characters who are different from the league. Hence, it can be said that the actress is now ready to make a niche for herself in Bollywood.

Vaani Kapoor has recently essayed a transwoman character in her movie Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. She thinks that her work in the movie must have incited confidence among the filmmakers about her craft. While commenting on the same, she says that she would like her filmography to be as diverse as possible and after showing her range of acting in her previous movies, she can only hope that the filmmakers would feel extremely confident to approach her with any challenging role. The actress also added that she is ready to give everything from her side to pull off any character that she would be approached with, to play on screen.

Befikre girl also revealed the best thing about acting. According to her, everyone in this profession gets a chance to become so many characters and live so many lives. She wants her journey in cinema to be filled with varied films and genres and characters that would light up the screen to entertain the audiences.
