Uttarakhand Floods: Dead Body Burning On Pyre Washed Away
A cremation was taking place on the banks of the river in Pauri, Uttarakhand when the water level swelled up and people started running to save their lives.
This is the most shocking footage of a water catastrophe you could ever see. A cremation was taking place on the banks of the river in Pauri, Uttarakhand. Everything was going normal but then suddenly the river swelled up. People started running to save their lives but the funeral pyre kept on burning. In a short span of time, the level of the water increased so much that it swept away the burning pyre. Along with the pyre, the dead body also got washed away. The noise of destruction could be heard as the overflowing river leapt with its waves into the cremation ground.
Recently, in Hyderabad, after the body of a COVID-19 patient was found partially burnt at a graveyard apparently due to rains which doused the fire in the pyre, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) swung into action. It is now in the process of constructing a shed in the graveyard. The person in-charge of Sri Harishchandra graveyard at Erragada of Hyderabad, Gopal Krishna, said that the body was left to burn but the fire was apparently doused by overnight rains, leaving the body half-charred.
