Uttar Pradesh Police File FIR Against Bhim Army’s Chandrashekhar Azad For Violating Section 144 In Hathras

A case has been registered against Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad and 400 others for violating section 144 in Hathras. On Sunday, October 4 the Bhim Army Chief had visited the family of the victim in Hathras, has been booked for violating Section 144. The Uttar Pradesh government was allowing only a limited number of political leaders and their supporters to visit the victim’s family. Chandrashekhar Azad was accompanied by a large number of people and so the Uttar Pradesh police stopped him some two kilometres away from the village.
After meeting the victim’s family, Azad demanded that the family should be provided with Y-category security and a probe monitored by the Supreme Court be initiated as soon as possible.
