US golfer Tiger Woods met with a very serious accident on Tuesday and was hospitalized immediately following the incident.

As per the reports, his legs have been gravely injured as his car ‘flew off the road’ near Los Angeles. Reports claim that the 45-year-old acclaimed golfer underwent multiple surgeries for his legs, following the crash. Watch the news video below to find out more information.
As per the news reports, soon after the Tuesday morning crash, an ambulance rushed to the spot immediately and Woods was transported to a nearby hospital. Reports suggest that this is not the first time for the golfer to have met with an accident. He has, in fact, met with two more accidents prior to this one.

Reports have also claimed that it was quite difficult to recover the damaged car from the site of the accident. The accident has reportedly damaged the car beyond repair. Woods was reportedly driving the car alone before the crash took place on the road.

According to a recent tweet posted on Tiger Woods’ handle, he has undergone a ‘long surgical procedure’ on his ‘lower right leg and ankle’. The tweet also claims that he is ‘awake, responsive and currently recovering in his hospital room’. Take a look at the full tweet below:

According to a report by a leading daily, the officials have confirmed that Woods did not appear to be driving under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs. The officials also reportedly claimed that no other vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash. Reports suggest that the site of the crash has become a hotspot for accidents in recent years.
