J&K Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh recently confirmed the presence of close to 300 militants spread across camps on the other side of the border. He also said that the Pakistani army and intelligence play a huge role in helping these miscreants infiltrate through the Line of Control (LoC) into the union territory. Apart from this, the neighbouring country has also resorted to unprovoked shelling in various forward sectors in the region, disrupting the lives of civilians in the last few weeks.
