There have been instances of actors resorting to different professions after running out of work in the film industry. However, we bet you might have rarely heard of actors quitting the showbiz after going through self-realization. Yes! TV star Ashish Sharma has taken up organic farming, bidding a brief goodbye to the dazzling world of television. He took this important decision after realizing his desire to be close to ‘Mother Nature’. 

Ashish Sharma has left Mumbai and has shifted to his native place in Rajasthan. Through his social media handles, the actor has been sharing glimpses from his daily farm errands. During an interview with the media, Ashish opened up about this new journey in his life. He shared how the pandemic has helped him realize his “true desire” from life. “I decided to get back to my roots and become a farmer. Agriculture has been our profession for ages but there was a disconnect since I moved to Mumbai,” Ashish was quoted saying.

Furthermore, Ashish noted that we should appreciate the “simple pleasures” of life. He also went on to share the details of his familial land and farms. The actor aims to promote the “natural way” of living by getting close to mother nature. His farm is located near Jaipur and since the last few days, Ashish has been sharing interesting glimpses with his fans. This includes pictures of milking cows, sleeping under the stars, etc.

He owns 40 acres of land in the village and nearly 40 cows. Well, Ashish seems to have adopted this new way of living with great dedication.

For those unversed, Ashish has been a well-known face of Indian television. He became a household name after starring in hit TV shows like ‘Rangrasiya’ and ‘Siya Ke Ram’.
