Throwback: When Rekha Spilled The Beans On Seeing Jaya Bachchan In Tears After She Saw Her Husband Amitabh Bachchan Making Love To Her

Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan were one of the on-screen couples, netizens couldn’t take their eyes off. The duo’s sizzling chemistry was always a treat to the sore eyes. In an older interview, Rekha revealed some shocking facts.

Rekha revealed in an interview that once she was looking at the whole [Bachchan] family through the projection room when they came to see the trial show of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. Jaya was sitting in the front row and he and his parents were in the row behind her. They couldn’t see Jaya as clearly as Rekha could. And during our love scenes, Rekha could see tears pouring down her face.’ She further added that a ‘week later after everybody in the industry was telling Rekha that Amitabh Bachchan had made it clear to his producers that he was not going to work with the actress. Everybody else informed her about it but he didn’t say a word on the subject. When she tried to question him about it, he said Amitabh is not going to say a word. Don’t ask him about it.’ Notably, Rekha and Big B haven’t starred in a film together since 1981. This is not the only time, Rekha spoke about Jaya Bachchan.
