Three Killed And Many Injured After Train Derails Near Stonehaven, Scotland

In a horrendous incident that recently took place in Scotland three people were killed and many were severely injured after a train got derailed near Stonehaven in Scotland. Sources state that the train engine caught fire after running off the tracks. About 30 emergency vehicles along with air ambulances immediately reached the scene and now the emergency services are dealing with the derailed train. Torrential rains and thunderstorms have caused flooding in many areas of Scotland and according to the sources, the train derailed because of the same. The rains are also making the rescue operations difficult.
The Network Rail has confirmed that it is currently investigating the reason behind this tragic incident. Looking at the seriousness of the accident, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon sent her condolences to the victims and assured a thorough investigation and assistance to all the people injured in this accident. UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson also sent his condolences to the victims and prayed for a speedy recovery of the injured.
