1. The Good: Abhi From Kumkum Bhagya

It’s International Men’s Day which means it is time to appreciate the men in your life. More specifically men who are your personal heroes, who are there for you when you need them and help you become a better person. Here’s a list of some of these heroes on TV and web series seen lately on ZEE5.

Shabir Ahluwalia plays the role of Abhi on Kumkum Bhagya. He’s responsible but fun, He’s sensitive but stern and above all a Rockstar. As man who ticks all the boxes, it’s no surprise Abhi has become an audience favourite. Apart from being a good partner in a relationship he is also a cool dad.

2. The Good: Karan From Kundali Bhagya

Dheeraj Dhoopar plays the role of Karan, The Spolit Brat, on Kundali Bhagya. He is not perfect as he finds it hard to show his love for Preeta, he can have a quick temper and make impulsive decisions. However, when the time comes he can be trusted to make the right decision. As a popular cricketer who loves his fans, Karan knows how to turn on the charm.

3. The Good: Akshat Jindal (AJ) on Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega

Nishant Malkani plays the role of Akhsat a.k.a AJ on Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, He is the man of the house whose word if final but he uses his position to be fair and just to everyone in the house. He works hard to make his marriage with Guddan work even with their age difference. The fact that he is a big chef who cooks at home too, further makes him your everyday hero.

4. The Bad: Prithvi On Kundali Bhagya

International Men’s day also happens to be International Toilet day. There are some villainous men in real-life and on-screen who prove that this was no co-incidence.

On Kundali Bhagya,  one of the biggest criminal minds is Prithvi, played by actor Sanjay Gagnani. While in real-life he is a chocolate boy, on the show he plans to steal property, uses goons to kidnap and almost kill people but more importantly he keeps the leading pair Karan and Preeta apart.

5. Parv From Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega

Parv is a villain from Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, played by Rehaan Roy. He used to be a police officer and like Prithvi, pretends to be nice while ruining everyone’s life around him. He has tried to kill people multiple times, escaped from jail and now is turning AJ’s daughter against her own family.

6. The Good Turned Bad: Ravi Dubey From Jamai 2.0 & Rangbaaz Phirse's Jimmy Shergill

Ravi Dubey plays the grey character on Jamai 2.0, he is a good guy who has been wronged and now seeks revenge. While his character is not evil at first he quickly develops into one. Rangbaaz Phirse again brings the story of a gangster who was pushed to become one because of the system. Jimmy Shergill is set to take on the role of gangster Anand Pal Singh in this original series releasing soon.

Humor is certainly an attractive quality to have. Why be a hero or a villain when you can be funny. Here’s a list of men from TV who charm us with their comedic skills.

Aashif Shaikh and Rohitash Gaud, the comedians, play the role of Vibhuti and Tiwari On Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. They constantly try to woo each other’s wives which lead to hilarious consequences every week. Their own love-hate relationship tells a lot about male friendships.

8. The Funny: Saxena From Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain

Saanand Verma plays the role of Saxena, a mentally ill person on Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. This is a unique character for TV and his comedic portrayal of the role makes him even more endearing. Saxena might be called the craziest person on the show but often he is the smartest one who comes up with ideas no one else could even think of.

9. The Funsters: Kumkum Bhagya's Ranbir and Anshuman Malhotra as Vishwas

They might not be the funniest of the lot but they love to have fun. Ranbir on Kumkum Bhagya, played by Krishna Kaul, is the handsome hunk in college who plays football and guitar. He enjoys the attention he gets from women and flirts back but is actually not a womaniser.

Anshuman Malhotra plays the role of Vishwas on Love, Sleep Repeat who takes the phrase ‘falling in love everyday’ too seriously. He falls in love with 7 women in 7 days and learns something from each of them. Watch his romantic comedy series Love Sleep Repeat, streaming on ZEE5.
