Hype is real! Money Heist may be approaching its end, but just not yet. The fans have been assured after the revelation that Season 5 would be split into two parts, adding to the suspense of the finale. The first half, consisting of five episodes, will be dropping today.

On December 3rd, the final five episodes of Money Heist will be released. La casa de papel (Money Heist), a tremendously successful series in Spain, is full of twists and turns. Despite the fact that the show concluded in November 2017 and generated only a brief surge of interest among Antena 3 viewers, no one knew what would happen next.

After the rights were acquired by an OTT platform to this criminal thriller series, Money Heist became an instant global hit. The already completed part 2 was expanded to a part 3, then a part 4, and now a part 5 is due to the growing popularity.  The trailer has given us a taste of what’s to come. We find the Professor (Álvaro Morte) in jeopardy right away since former inspector Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) has discovered his underground hideaway.

For the first time, the Professor has no way out, and he even warns the rest of the gang that this may be the last time he can speak with them. Aside from that, the criminals ( erm… the fans might think otherwise) have been imprisoned for nearly 100 hours inside the Bank of Spain. They now have the presence of Lisbon, which could prove to be a valuable ally in their quest to flee. But the challenge is formidable this time.

The fifth and final season of Money Heist will premiere on Friday, September 3 worldwide.

The show will also see a return in the main cast including Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo, Álvaro Morte as The Professor, Itziar Ituño as Lisbon, Miguel Herrán as Rio, Jaime Lorente as Denver, Esther Acebo as Stockholm, and Hovik Keuchkerian as Bogota among others.
