Kangana Ranaut is an actress who’s always making headlines. Her upcoming film Thalaivi is a biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actress J Jayalalithaa. The first look of the biopic when unveiled created a big buzz on social media where the actress was lauded for looking stunning. Getting more insights into her character and look is the new song Hai Kamaal

The song shows how Kangana has taken over the character completely and is seen winning over her citizen’s hearts and minds by taking over the mid-day meals scheme and ensuring kids are fed well. The song is an ode to Amma. The teaser of the film was unveiled too recently and Kangana’s talent of playing a real-life character is speaking volumes.

Kangana had not only learnt Tamil and Bharathanatyam for her role, but she had also gained 20 kilos. Her dedication to her work is commendable. The actress also recently posted on her Instagram asking the Government to open up theatres for her upcoming film and said, “Cases in Maharashtra have declined to request Maharashtra Government to #openupcinemas in Maharashtra and save the dying film industry and theatres business.”

She posted yet another one saying, “In Maharashtra, restaurants, hotels, offices, local trains everything is open but movie theatres are shut because of Covid, according to Maharashtra government Covid only and only exclusively spreads in the movie theatres.”

The story of the film is shaped on Jayalalithaa’s life, tracing her journey as an actress at a young age to becoming the face of Tamil cinema, as well as the rise of the revolutionary leader who changed the course of the state’s politics.

The film also has Arvind Swami as Tamil Nadu politician and veteran actor MGR and the teaser of the film received an amazing response from the fans. The film, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, has been produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh.
