Terrorist Shouted Allahu Akbar While Killing Three People In Southern France
The Tunisian terrorist entered the Notre-Dame church in Nice and stabbed three people, beheading one of them and injuring at least a dozen
As France declared its war against Islamist-Separatism recently following the killing of teacher Samuel Patty, another shocking incident was reported from the country’s southern city, Nice yesterday. A knife-wielding man entered the Notre-Dame de Nice church and killed three people. He beheaded an elderly lady and fatally stabbed another two people. A dozen church visitors were reportedly injured too as the accused went on a rampage attacking the crowd.
The city’s Mayor, Christian Estrosi said that the terrorist repeatedly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is the greatest) while carrying out the murders. The attacker was shot by the police and was critically wounded before he was taken to a local hospital.
The militant was identified as Brahim Aouissaoui, a Tunisian national who had entered Europe through Italy in September. He was given seven days by the Italian administration to leave the country. He held no previous criminal record.
French President Emmanuel Macron openly acknowledged that France is under attack, while declaring that the European superpower will not give in to terrorism. The government has deployed an additional 4,000 troops around schools and churches to boost security.
