Novak Djokovic won his 19th Grand Slam title by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the French Open 2021 finals in a five-set thriller which ended up with the Serbian ace having the last laugh. He won the match 6-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. The Serbian Tennis ace made a stunning comeback after being two sets down in the match.
Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are all set to battle their wits out in the mouthwatering tie of the French Open 2021 semi-final. The match will be held at the Philippe-Chatrier. Ahead of the game, the two were seen sweating it hard out on the court. While Djoko posted a video featuring himself while practicing some drills, Nadal posted a picture of himself on Instagram.
If we are to look at records, head-to-head clashes between these players show that Djokovic holds a slight advantage with 29 wins as compared to Nadal's 28. Based on their last five matches, Nadal holds the advantage over his Serbian rival, winning three and would soon hope at securing a 21st Grand Slam.
If Nadal wins the match, he would go one step closer to a record 21st Grand Slam title. On the other hand, if Djokovic turns out victorious, he would not only clinch his 19th Grand Slam, but also become the first man to complete a double career Grand Slam in the Open era.
Paris [France], June 4 (ANI): Former world number one Gustavo Kuerten feels Tennis legend Rafael Nadal would probably go on to win the French Open title 15 times before he calls off his playing career.
