Quetta, under Sarfaraz Ahmed's captaincy, have had a very poor season so far where they have managed to score just one victory in the seven matches they have played. Lahore Qalandars on the other hand, have done reasonably well in the competition so far, securing five wins in seven games and they are on course to making it to the play-offs.
Islamabad United went down to Lahore in their very first match after the resumption of the tournament and are currently placed third in the league table, with six points from five games. Quetta on the other hand managed to clinch just one victory in the five games that they have played so far in the first leg of the competition.
Quetta, who has had a terrible PSL so far with just one win from five matches, would want to start winning big time and must figure out a way to do so, if they plan to finish inside the top four. They would undoubtedly be boosted by the likes of Andre Russell and Faf Du Plessis.
