New Delhi [India], January 19 (ANI): The Supreme Court has directed the National Green Tribunal (NGT)-appointed committee for river monitoring to submit before it a copy of its report regarding recommendations made for the improvement of the quality of the Yamuna river water.
A leopard was seen taking a leisure stroll around the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad during early hours of Tuesday morning. The big cat was walking near the boundary of the airport at around 3 am. The incident has been captured by the CCTV camera installed at the airport. The place reportedly is isolated and does not witness much human movement.

A tiger has gone missing from Kolavally in Wayanad, Kerala and has been untraceable for a week. The forest officials believe that the tiger has entered the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka. A search operation is underway to locate the big cat. The forest officials has also deployed Kumki elephants in the search operation.
As of January 17, 2021, cases of Avian Influenza have been confirmed in poultry at Central Poultry Development Organization (CPDO (Western Region) in Mumbai and Kheda Road in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. The central team formed for monitoring the situation in the affected areas of the country are visiting the affected sites and conducting epidemiological studies.

As of January 15, 2021, Avian Influenza (AI) has been confirmed in Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Gujarat.
