Sushil Kumar Modi Accuses Lalu Prasad Yadav Of Plotting Against Bihar Ruling Government
In an audio tape, the RJD supremo is heard asking NDA MLA Lallan Paswan to abstain from attending the House session on the pretext of COVID19 ahead of the Speaker elections
Bihar’s former deputy chief minister, Sushil Kumar Modi levied serious allegations on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav of trying to woo National Democratic Alliance (NDA) lawmakers with a ministerial seat in the opposition’s Mahagathbandhan unison.
In a now viral phone recording, Lalu can be heard telling Minister of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Lallan Paswan to excuse himself from attending the House ahead of the speaker’s elections on the pretext of a Coronavirus infection. Paswan is further assured of a ministerial post in the RJD-Congress-Left parties’ government.
Lalu Prasad is currently staying at Kelly bungalow at Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Modi tweeted last night that the Lalu administration is luring NDA members by promising them prominent ministerial berths. The Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) member also wrote that he directly spoke to the jailed politician on the same number and warned him to not indulge in dirty politics from jail.
The Janata Dal (United) responded to the matter, terming Lalu Prasad Yadav as a habitual criminal using his power to try and topple the Nitish Kumar government, while sitting in a hospital.
