Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Reveals Why The Actor Was Replaced In 4 Films
Sanjay Leela Bhansali was questioned in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra on June 14.
Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has recorded his statement with the Mumbai Police regarding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput by suicide on June 14. The producer-director told the police officials that Sushant was replaced in four of his films owing to the unavailability of the actor’s dates. The police is investigating links to professional rivalry in the film industry that could have played a part in the actor’s suicide.
According to sources, the police had framed all their questions around the four SLB films which Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to star in. The recording of his statement went on for around three hours, and Bhansali is believed to have told the police that he himself never removed Sushant from any of his films. He apparently said that the actor had commitments to other big production houses, due to which they couldn’t manage to get his dates.
