The peddler who used to supply drugs to Rhea Chakraborty purchased it from Darknet, one of the biggest online platforms for black marketing of narcotics

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has discovered that the drug which was being given to Sushant Singh Rajput was bought from Darknet. On investigation, the NCB found that the peddler who used to supply drugs to Rhea Chakraborty purchased it from Darknet, which is one of the biggest online platforms for black marketing of drugs. It also supplies material used for contact killing. The NCB is probing the Darknet connection further in Rajput’s death case, along with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik along with the others will be questioned for a few more days. Meanwhile, a leading news channel spoke to Umakant Mishra, former NCB officer, who doubts that Darknet may have been used to purchase drugs in this case. On Wednesday (August 26), the NCB has registered a criminal case against Chakraborty over drug conspiracy reports. The agency has also booked a few other people in connection with the case.
