Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI Grills Rhea Chakraborty For Fourth Consecutive Day
The actress was grilled by the agency about her Europe trip with Sushant, her business interests with him and other details
Actress and prime suspect in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rhea Chakraborty, was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for the fourth consecutive day yesterday. Rhea has been grilled for 26 hours by the agency till now by Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad, who is her primary interrogator.
Chakraborty’s brother, Showik and her associate Samuel Miranda were also summoned by the authorities and all three were made to sit together for cross-questioning.
According to sources, the Jalebi actress did not give straight answers to the team, who probed her on her Europe trip with Sushant and sought facts about her joint business with her brother and Rajput. Information about the doctor treating Sushant was also demanded.
On the third day, the model turned actress was examined about a supposed incident in a European hotel.
According to Rhea, Sushant stayed in a gothic hotel in Florence in Italy, where he came across a Goya style painting in his room that made him very uncomfortable. She added that after this, his mental condition deteriorated due to which they cut short their trip by five days.
Sources have also disclosed that Rhea was reprimanded by officer Prasad as the former was flustered by the exhausting questions thrown at her by the officers.
Chakraborty maintains that she left Sushant Singh’s home on June 8, after which his sister Meetu Singh went to live with him.
