Taapsee Pannu, Lakshmi Manchu join RGV in criticising the media trial of actress.

Big names from the film industry are now coming forward and showing support for Rhea Chakraborty for being unfairly tried by the Indian media. Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Hansal Mehta, Anubhav Sinha and Ram Gopal Verma were among the first from the industry to show support for the actress and they were recently joined by actresses, Lakshmi Manchu and Taapsee Pannu. They have both slammed the media trial that Rhea has been put through ever since she was named in an FIR filed by the deceased actor’s father.

Replying to a message posted by Lakshmi on Twitter, Taapsee had said, “I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity.” In a long post, Lakshmi had called upon her colleagues from the film industry to stop the media “lynching” of Rhea.
