Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee’s Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is a comedy-drama set in 1995 that narrates the tale of a man who is on a quest to find a bride for him. While it sounds like an easy task, Bajpayee’s character is determined to make it troublesome for him. While we loved the movie for its hilarious take on arranged marriages, we cannot help but admire other elements of the film that took us back in time when Mumbai was still Bombay.

Mumbai is all about fashion but Bombay was about style! From embroidered shirts to bell-bottoms, Bombay has witnessed some of the best fashion scenes ever.
Even though pagers existed everywhere and not just in Bombay, this picture is a sweet reminder of the time when lovers used to ‘chat’ on pagers in Bombay. They would have so much to say but pagers couldn’t accommodate everything.
