Sudeeksha Death Case: UP Police Seize 25 Bullet Motorcycles
Sudeeksha Bhati’s family had alleged that the accident happened because two motorcycle-borne men chased her two-wheeler and harassed her.
On Wednesday (August 12), Bulandshahr Police seized 18 bullet motorcycles (Royal Enfield) as it stepped up its probe into the tragic death of a 20-year-old girl, Sudeeksha Bhati, who was on a visit home from the United States (US) where she studied, in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh on Monday (August 10). Later, UP Police seized seven more bikes, making the total count to 25 bullet motorcycles. According to reports, the Aurangabad Police is taking details of the registered bullet motorcycles across the district from the local RTO office so that it can zero in on the main accused in the case.
It is to be noted that the girl’s family had alleged that the accident happened because two motorcycle-borne men chased her two-wheeler and harassed her. The daughter of a tea-shop owner, Sudeeksha Bhati died on Monday morning near Aurangabad when she was riding pillion on a motorcycle with her younger brother, a minor. The two were en route to their maternal uncle’s home in Bulandshahr’s Khanpur area from their house at Deri Scanar village in Gautam Buddh Nagar’s Dadri tehsil, the police said.
