SSR Case: Rakul Preet Singh Receives Summons To Appear Before NCB

Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, whose name cropped up in the drug probe in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has accepted NCB’s summons.

On Thursday (September 24), Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh acknowledged the summons by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and updated her latest address, and NCB official informed. Singh, along with other Bollywood actresses including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor, has been summoned for questioning by the central agency under Section 67 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, in the ongoing probe related to the drug angle in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Singh’s legal team has also confirmed receiving summons digitally and the actress is likely to appear before the NCB on Friday (September 25). Previously, there have been reports doing the rounds about Rakul’s team claiming that they have not received any summons from the investigating agency. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has also been summoned on Friday, whereas Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan have been asked to appear before the agency on September 26.
