Special Frontier Forces Commander Nyima Tenzin Given A Respectful Farewell In Leh
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ram Madhav attended the funeral and placed a wreath to pay tribute to the braveheart.
On August 30, the Special Frontier Force of the Indian Army lost one of its brave warrior in form of subedar Nyima Tenzin. The Special Frontier Force is a covert Indian unit which majorly comprises of Tibetans are responsible to carry out classified missions. According to the sources, Nyima Tenzin accidentally stepped on a vintage mine near the south bank of Pangong Tso and lost his life. BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav attended the funeral and placed a wreath to pay tribute to the braveheart. A huge number of people gathered to pay their last respects to Nyima Tenzin. The locals also shouted slogans supporting the Indian Army.
Army Officials confirm that the entire incident took place when the Indian forces were trying to turn the tables on the Chinese by occupying strategic heights in areas of the Chushul sector. India has indeed lost one of its precious sons.
