CMO Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray recently released a statement of the official opening of the Theatre’s post-October 22, 2021. Bollywood had a joyous moment and the much-awaited big-ticket films announced their release date including Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi. Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account and shared the re-opening of theatres news with his fans with a BTS Picture of Sooryavanshi

In the picture Ranveer Singh is seen sitting at a table, and to his right are Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn and to Ranveer’s left is director Rohit Shetty who seems to be discussing something and seem in a happy mood.

While this may be just a mere picture for fans, it wasn’t for Spl DGP RK Vij and he pointed out an error that says that while the SP is standing the inspector isn’t allowed to sit in a relaxed position. This isn’t how it happens.


Akshay Kumar was quick enough to reply with sheer respect to RK Vij saying that it’s a BTS from the film and as the camera presses the button they’re back following all protocols successfully. He also shares regards forever to our great police forces and hopes he likes the film when he watches it.



RK Vij replied to this saying that whatever he said was in a light vein and he will surely be watching the film. He also thanked Akshay for showing immense respect to the police forces



Sooryavanshi is a Rohit Shetty directorial under his cop universe belt which stars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Katrina Kaif in the lead role.

Sooryavanshi is the fourth film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe that kick-started with Ajay Devgn’s Singham in 2011. After Singham and Singham Returns, Ranveer Singh carried forward the baton with Simmba. Now, Akshay is ready to entertain the audience with Sooryavanshi along with Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, and Ajay Devgn. The action film’s theatrical release was postponed twice due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
