Sunil Chhetri, the notable and super-skilled footballer and skipper of the Indian football team has been diagnosed with the infection of the coronavirus.
Several notable celebrities, whether they are from the Indian film or the sports industry, have recently been diagnosed with the deadly infection of the coronavirus. Recently, another such popular face of India, especially the nation’s football world, Sunil Chhetri texted positive for COVID-10 as well. However, the footballer has stated that he is feeling fine and currently recovering from the virus.

Recently, one of the best-known footballers of India, Sunil Chhetri, tested positive for the dangerous disease of coronavirus. On March 11, 2021, the actor revealed a piece of shocking news to the world when he shared that he had been found positive of the infection. He took to his verified Twitter handle to send out the message of his diagnosis to his fans and followers. In a not-so-happy Tweet, Sunil Chhetri wrote that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the talented sportsman added to the tweet that on a happier note, he is feeling fine and is on his road to recovery from the harmful infection of the virus. He further happily added that he hopes and expects to be back on the football pitch very soon, upon his full recovery as well. Being the responsible part of society that he is, Sunil Chhetri also utilised this opportunity to remind everyone that all the precautionary measure need to be taken in order to stay safe and away from the virus as much as possible. The 36-year old footballer and skipper of the Indian team, Sunil Chhetri was seen playing in the seventh season of the popular Indian Super League (ISL) only recently. Sunil played in the league as a part of the Bengaluru FC team, whose last match was on February 25, 2021, in which the player scored a goal as well.
