Singham 3: Jackie Shroff To Be The Lead Antagonist In The New Film From Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe

Fans are eagerly waiting to get an official update on the announcement of the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham 3. However, in a recent turn of events, it is learnt that Rohit Shetty will be making Singham 3 and the antagonist in his upcoming movie of  his ‘Cop Universe‘ is also finalised. For all the people who are wondering about who will play the role of villain in Singham 3, here is everything you need to know about it.

The actor who will play the role of villain in Singham 3 is none other than Jackie Shroff. Jackie Shroff will be seen playing the negative role in the upcoming Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi along with Gulshan Grover and Abhimanyu Singh. It seems like he has a bigger role to play as Jackie Shroff will be continuing his character of the antagonist in Singham 3. The release of Sooryavanshi has been delayed due to the pandemic.

The Chennai Express director will take ahead his cop universe with Singham 3 after Sooryavanshi. Singham 3 starts where the upcoming Sooryavanshi movie finishes. Ajay Devgn will take the charge as Singham with the Soryavanshi climax and the plot will continue in Singham 3. Jackie Shroff will also take the charge as the main villain in the cop universe ahead with Singham 3. His character is the mastermind behind the terror attacks.

Director Rohit Shetty currently has his hands full with the movie Cirkus with Ranveer Singh. Makers of ’83 and Sooryavanshi have decided that the movies will be released soon. Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi will see Akshay Kumar in the titular role with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprising their roles off Singham and Simmba respectively. However, he now faces a challenge of which movie to start first as he is also expected to start shooting for Golmaal 5.

The script of Golmaal 5 is almost ready. Rohit Shetty had earlier decided that he will start shooting for Golmaal 5 before Singham 3 but if there is a long gap between the release of Sooryavanshi and Singham 3, there is a risk that audience will not give much response to Singham 3 as the stories are connected. It remains to be seen what decision he takes regarding the Singham 3 and Golmaal 5’s release.
