The makers leave it to your judgement about who is right and who is wrong. There is no redemption given to any character just for the sake of empathy, which makes it easy for the viewers to watch it objectively and form their own opinions. In the initial stages of the story, it is established that Akhtar’s family is never involved in hatred towards any community and have made good lives for themselves but Akhtar is the estranged one and the whole family has given up on him.

When it comes to the performances in Shoot-out At Alair, it goes without saying that Prakash Raj as DySP Suryanarayan and Meka Srikanth as IG Praveen Chand put up terrific performances, given the expertise they have when it comes to acting. Teja Kakumanu is a breath of fresh air as Akhtar Ahmed, who breathes life into the character with his performance. He is extremely believable and seems to be effortlessly acting in any scene that you put in front of him.

Actor Sandeep Sahu as the loyal friend and companion Nazir proves that he has a lot of potential which needs to be tapped into. The female characters like Selvi and Nafisa have been extremely well written and fleshed out. Paired with the performances by Gayatri Gupta and Nandini Rai, it makes the whole experience flawless. We’re glad that director Anand Ranga finally decided to make a comeback after a decade with a Shoot-out At Alair. The web series is a must-watch and we hope you catch it as soon as possible.
