Actor Shahid Kapoor will soon be collaborating with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for a new Bollywood entertainer. According to various reports, the film will be based on the Hindu mythological character Karna, who was a brother of the Pandavas in the Mahabharat. The director has lately been working on the film Toofan, which was announced early this year, starring actor Farhan Akhtar in the lead role. Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, will be seen playing the lead role in the Hindi adaptation of the Telugu film, Jersey. This sports entertainer also won a National Award this year and fans have been quite excited to see how the Hindi version turns out. The film has been scheduled for November 2021 release and was originally supposed to release in 2020.
