Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, And John Abraham Starrer Pathan To Resume Shooting On June 21
As lockdown restrictions ease up in Mumbai, YRF’s Pathan will resume shooting from June 21. Read on to know more about the film.
Many of Bollywood’s big-budget films had to stop their shoots midway due to the lockdown restrictions in Mumbai. Several production houses had to face major losses because of this. YRF was also one such banner. But now with the Maharashtra government easing the restrictions, YRF is planning to resume the shoot of Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham on June 21, 2021.
Earlier, the Maharashtra government had issued strict guidelines for a lockdown in the state, in an attempt to curb the rising COVID-19 cases. Recently, as a part of their 5-level unlock plan, the government has now allowed shootings to take place within a bubble. With this YRF has already started resuming the shoot of their upcoming films with the Junaid Khan starter Maharaja. And now they’ve decided to resume the shoot of Pathan as well, starting from June 21.
The shoot of this Shah Rukh Khan starrer was going on in full swing in Dubai and later at the YRF studios before the shooting was badly hit by the virus. In fact, Shah Rukh had also shot for some great actions sequences in Dubai.
The film will feature Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone essaying the roles of RAW agents, while Dimple Kapadia will be playing the role of their chief and John Abraham will be the prime antagonist. Dimple will be joining the shoot from June 24. Apart from the lead cast, Pathan will also reportedly feature Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan reprising their respective roles as Tiger and Kabir(War), as YRF wants to experiment with the film making it a part of YRF’s Spy Universe.
