Several Leaders Stand In Kangana’s Support On Shiv Sena Row
Maharashtra ex-CM Devendra Fadnavis, Subramanian Swamy and Manoj Tiwari condemned the demolition of Ranaut’s office by the BMC
The destruction of actress Kangana Ranaut’s office by the Maharashtra government has created a widespread outrage. In addition to the actress’s huge number of fans and followers, many celebrities and leaders have come forward to condemn this act.
Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed shock over the incident and said that the state has never witnessed something like this in its history. He added that the government has made itself look poor in front of the entire country and invited insult upon itself.
Wrestler Babita Phogat urged the nation to stand by the outspoken actress, saying that Ranaut is fearless and not someone who can be threatened to keep quiet.
Politician Manoj Tiwari tweeted in Kangana’s favour by posting a photo of her wrecked office. He captioned it saying that Mumbai cried today without any rains.
Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy also expressed his support for the Manikarnika heroine on his social media handle.
Shiv Sena has been at the receiving end ever since it took this extreme destructive step as a retaliation to the film star’s controversial comments about the state police and government. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut took a u-turn on the matter saying that the work was conducted by the city’s civic body and has no connection with his party.
