Samuel Miranda In NCB Custody After Early Morning House Raid
The ex-house manager of Sushant Singh Rajput has been taken for questioning by the NCB to probe the drug angle in the case
In a massive development in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has taken the late actor’s ex-house manager, Samuel Miranda for questioning to their office headquarters in South Mumbai. Miranda’s home was raided today morning by the NCB officials.
Another team also raided actress Rhea Chakraborty’s house today morning at around 6.30 am, after which they took her brother Showik Chakraborty with them for interrogation.
According to sources, the team thoroughly scanned all electronic devices in both Rhea and Samuel’s residences, including laptops and mobile phones.
After a drug angle emerged in the Kedarnath actor’s case investigations by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the narcotics agency arrested two people, Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar. WhatsApp chats of the Chakraborty siblings and Miranda revealed that they were in touch with some substance dealers. It is also believed that the actor’s house manager was procuring drugs from these peddlers on Showik’s instructions.
This could be a big breakthrough in the ongoing probe, as the authorities are also looking at penetrating into a larger circle of the drugs demand and supply chain in the Indian film industry.
