But in recent years, many Bollywood actors have come to support self-love and have made us realize that we should be happy in our own skin. Here are celebrities who teach us how to love ourselves.

The De Dana Dan actress recently opened up on why she does not hide her grey hair anymore. She revealed that when her father asked her why she doesn’t like to cover her grey hair, Sameera replied that she’s not paranoid about looking older and embraced how she looks. The actress sets an example for all women across the globe not to fear growing old and accept their bodies and appearance while aging gracefully.

The Hungama 2 actress is also an author of the book, The Great Indian Diet. In her book, she insists people to be health-obsessed and not weight-obsessed. She is always seen promoting body positivity and says that health is wealth. The actress is very fit and always urges people to accept themselves and understand their bodies and appearance.

The Guru actress and Miss World 1994, opened up about the criticism she received after the birth of her daughter, Aradhya.  She revealed her feelings stating that she is also human and is very sensitive, and it hurts when there is someone out there criticizing her. She urged her fans to work and do their best and that being happy is the only thing that matters. The Actress added that the flak hurts her less today because, with time and experience, she has learned to reduce the negativity and truly recognize the positivity in life.

The Sky is Pink actress, and former Miss World opened up about the harsh bullying she came across while studying as an Indian student in the USA. She revealed that even after being a pageant winner, her anxiety issues from when she was in school, which scared her as a kid, always come back as flashbacks. She said she was bullied in school but got up one day and said, Enough! The actress added that the color of her skin, the hair she has, is her pride and that she is confident of being in her own skin wherever she goes.
