Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated his 55th birthday on 27th December 2020, and the videos from the event have been going viral across social media platforms. The actor was seen having an intimate celebration with close family and friends at his lavish farmhouse in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. He also had a small cake-cutting ceremony with the media personnel before speaking about the celebrations that have been planned for this year.

The celebrated artist said that he has been keeping his birthday low-key this year, owing to the ongoing pandemic and its repercussions. Salman Khan also spoke about his next film, Radhe, which was originally scheduled for Eid 2020 but had to be pushed due to the unprecedented lockdown.

In an interaction with the media, he said, “We are not having any celebrations this year. Only family members are present at the farmhouse today. We didn’t want to do anything huge as it has been a difficult year for all of us. Let’s hope that things will fall in place next year and festivals will have a better celebrative environment.”

Salman Khan also took the opportunity to advise people to stay safe by following all COVID-related regulations until the situation is back to normal. He said, “Just hope that everyone is safe and keep following the COVID protocols properly. Keep wearing your facemasks and keep sanitizing and keeping yourself healthy.”

“We want the situation to get cleared before Radhe hits the theatres. When the vaccine comes into action and when people start visiting the theatres again, we will release the film. We want to make sure that everyone is safe and they also have the money to spend on entertainment. We had planned the released in Eid 2020 and now we have been considering Eid 2021”. He also made it clear that all of it will depend on the situation as they do not wish to put people at risk.
