The Telugu singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – The next singing icon is not only packed with talented singers and melodious voices but time to time we also get to witness the fun side of these judges and contestants because of the show’s host Pradeep. While all of us love Pradeep, music director Koti had another opinion in the latest episode of the music reality show.

Apparently, our beloved judge Koti is a fan of idlis and loves having them, but when he gave a contestant a few marks less, his wife gave him two fewer idlis than he should have gotten. He added that his son took away his gold chain because he did not give someone the ‘Golden Chair’.  Evidently the marvelous musician has to face serious consequences when he does not reward the contestants with generous marks.

Another funny incident that followed was that the system only showed scores when Pradeep asked for them and not when Koti asked for them. After seeing all of this, Pradeep requested Koti’s wife to give him the two extra idlis that he deserves while also asking the chain to be returned.

These rib-tickling incidents are one of the reasons the show is loved and regarded so widely. While we also love the talented contestants,  these tiffs that occur occasionally between Pradeep and the judges add to the entertainment of the show.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – The Next Singing Icon has completed 12 glorious seasons. While anchor Pradeep is the host of the weekly show, 15 participants compete against each other. Along with twelve grand jury mentors, Music Director Koti, renowned playback singers Mano and Kalpana are on the panel of judges. With brand new rounds and infinite entertainment, witness the return of the iconic singing show only on ZEE5.
