Russia’s EpivacCorona Vaccine Completes Final Phase Of Clinical Trials

Currently, Russia is leading the race to find a cure for the novel Coronavirus. Sources state that Russia has completed clinical trials of a second potential Coronavirus vaccine. The vaccine has been developed by Siberia’s Vector Institute. The new vaccine will be known as ‘EpiVacCorona’. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that the vaccine will be registered by October 15. Putin further appreciated the scientists and healthcare workers and said that the healthcare system is now ready to efficiently counter the novel Coronavirus.

In the last week, the Russian President even showed readiness to partner with countries who require the EpiVacCorona vaccine. In August, Russia was the first country to register COVID-19 vaccine named Sputnik V. However, the vaccine is still in the clinical trial stage. The Russian government is definitely giving some hope to all the countries across the world with its progress in looking for the Coronavirus vaccine.
