RRR glimpse bowls over Allu Arjun, hails director SS Rajamouli as pride of Indian cinema

Fans are eagerly awaiting SS Rajamouli’s next magnum opus RRR. The teaser that the makers released on November 1 has Tollywood heart throb Allu Arjun super-excited.

The name SS Rajamouli is fast becoming synonymous with grandeur.

If Bahubaali gave one a peek into this director’s ability for stunning visuals, his next mega project Roudram Ranam Rudhiram aka RRR slated for release in early January 2022 will only further reinforce this image of Rajamouli. Admitting to this idea was actor Allu Arjun, who could not contain his excitement on seeing the first glimpse of RRR that the makers released on the movies official Twitter handle on November 1.

Allu Arjun took to microblogging site Twitter to hail SS Rajamouli as the pride of Indian cinema. The actor was also all praise for the lead cast of this film, a fictional recreation of two freedom fighters – Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Describing the teaser of RRR as mind-blowing, Allu Arjun exhorted all cine lovers to take a look at the same. The teaser incidentally was released minus any dialogue but the visually enriching environment and attention to details that one has come to expect from Rajamouli were evident in each of the 45-second long video.

The teaser also hinted at the scale of grandeur that the fans of Rajamouli could expect on the large screen, and will certainly have them count down the days for its release. DVV Danya of DVV Entertainment has bankrolled this project which the makers have decided to release in theatres on January 7, 2022, in many languages

RRR has a power-packed star cast in Junior NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. . The film also features celebrated actor Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Samuthirakani among others.

Incidentally, the makers had planned to release the teaser on October 29. However, the unexpected news of the passing away of Sandalwood power star Puneeth Rajkumar the same day saw them change tack and reschedule it for November 1.

The film has also created a pre-release history of sorts with India’s leading film exhibitor PVR Cinemas rebranding the chain across India as PVRRR specifically for this movie. Fans can expect more such thrilling peeks into this film as the release date nears.
