Manish Pandey scored a massive 83 runs in just 47 balls at a strike rate of 176.6. 64 of his total runs came in boundaries with 8 huge sixes and 4 fours. His unbeaten knock made sure Sunrisers Hyderabad win the game by 8 wickets.
Reason 3: A disappointing performance by RR bowlers
Rajasthan Royals bowler Jofra Archer toppled the openers early in the innings. At one stage, SRH were reeling at 16 for 2. However, the RR bowlers could not carry the momentum ahead and lost the game by 8 wickets. Barring Jofra Archer’s fiery spell at the start of the game, none of the Rajasthan bowlers could take a single wicket. The youngster Kartik Tyagi was blasted for 42 runs in his 3.1 overs. Other Rajasthan Royals bowlers were also hammered for runs by Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar in Hyderabad’s win.
