The Actor-Producer-Director can have as many as he likes when he has the net worth of over whooping $300 million dollar.

How many cars does a man need? If you are Robert Downey Junior, then you probably don’t need to answer that question. The Actor-Producer-Director can have as many as he likes when he has a net worth of over whooping $300 million dollars. The ‘Iron Man’ famed star seemed to resemble ‘Tony Stark’ in love for all things classy and cool, especially when it comes to cars.

RDJ as Robert Downey Junior is lovingly called by fans has not gone overboard in the number of cars he keeps, but in quality, they excel par in comparison. For example, the most expensive car in his collection is the Ferrari California T Model (2014) which is a powerhouse with 482.7bhp and 90 V8 4.2 liters turbocharged petrol engine.

Similar to the installments of Avengers movies, RDJ seems to collect newer and more powerful versions of Audi cars. He presently owns  02 Audi A series cars, namely, Audi A7 and Audi A8. He also has 03 Audi R8, one bought in 2009, another bought in 2014, and the latest addition Red Audi R8 Convertible. The latter is one of the favorite cars of RDJ and he has been often photographed traveling on it.

Robert Downey Junior’s love for vintage cars is seen in his collection of cars which include the Mercedes Benz Pagoda (1963), Porsche 993 (1995), Ford Mustang Boss 302 (1970), Chevrolet Corvette (1965). One might naturally wonder whether these vintage cars are just for show. Well, they are not. RDJ has made several modifications in the cars to make them powerful with the current engines all while keeping the classic look of the past.

One curious and unique story about one of his cars involves the Fisker Karma, a luxury electric sports sedan, bought by RDJ when he was associated with the Hare Krishna Movement. The other cars in his catalog include those from brands like Nissan, Bentley, Acura.
